Since forming our second vanpool group some 30 odd years ago, we've realized that each one is unique. Today we continue to listen, learn and adapt to the varying needs of commuters throughout the world. We literally wrote the book, and continue to add chapters.
In Michigan, it's a unique passenger billing system for our MichiVan customers. In Alaska, it's special equipment on vehicles to assist our groups during the long, cold winter months. With Vanpool Hawaii it's our mascot "VanPoodle" and the Cool Pool program. In California and Texas, it's assisting our corporate customers with their Disaster Preparedness programs. In The Netherlands - bike capital of the world - it's vehicles equipped with bike racks.
Don't be fooled. Vanpooling isn't car rental or micro-transit. It's not a replacement car or providing a single vehicle in a strange city. It's about explaining and providing vanpool group support systems, understanding funding issues, and making the experience better than driving alone. We've honed best practices to make a dynamic, complex system (integrating converted vans, working with OEM manufacturers; coordinating maintenance and insurance; and managing human group dynamics) simple for vanpoolers to use.
So we listen. Then we focus our energies on leveraging our experience, our knowledge, and our dedicated people to providing you value. Nobody ever claims to be better at this than us…only cheaper. They haven't made the investment. That's why nobody moves the world like VPSI.
