The VPSI Commuter Center concept began in Europe through VIPRE, our subsidiary company there. Several major employers engaged VIPRE to help them sort out new employee transportation issues and challenges. These consultations eventually led to hiring a VIPRE employee to work on-site to roll out the solutions that were developed.
Outsourcing the development, implementation and perpetuation of the employee transportation coordinator function offers our clients best of both worlds; access to international best practices coupled with optimal staffing flexibility.
We've been hired by firms to establish a Commuter Center to address a specific need, such as a company relocation or highway construction program. Once the problem is solved, the Commuter Center can be gracefully retired with no residual staffing issues. In most cases however, the Commuter Centers become a permanent fixture as they continue to evolve and develop within the client organization as their challenges and needs change over time.
With our unique network of project offices here and abroad serving the complete spectrum of commuters on a daily basis, VPSI Commuter Center Managers are able to quickly muster best-practice resources from within our organization to develop world-class solutions for our sponsoring organizations.
